Residential Groundworks and Construction in East Yorkshire
Foundations, drainage, substructure and external works for housing developers, self builders and private clients.

Residential Construction by CDH Construction
Our residential work ranges from a single self build plot to developments of several homes. We carry out the foundations, drainage and substructure up to damp course, lay beam and block floors, and return for the drives, paths and external works when the houses are built.
In our own words, we provide groundworks and construction work for homes across the country, supported by consultation and specification and design work. Private clients deal directly with the people carrying out the work.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work for self builders?
Yes. We carry out groundworks for self build plots and can advise on the foundation and drainage design before you commit to a price.
How far do you take the build?
We normally complete the foundations, drainage, substructure and ground floor, then return for the external works. Building work beyond that can be included through our design and build service.
Can you build on a plot with poor ground?
Yes. Where the engineer specifies a raft or piled foundation we build it, including the pile caps and ground beams.
Do you carry out the drive and external works?
Yes. Drives, paths, drainage and landscaping levels are usually completed once the scaffolding is down.
