About the project
On this site the building stands on piled foundations. Once the piles were in, reinforcement cages for the ground beams were fixed inside formwork over the pile positions.
The foundations were poured across the footprint and the brick and blockwork substructure was built up from them, leaving the site ready for the superstructure.
