Groundworks set the line, level and programme for everything that follows on a site. CDH Construction takes a site from the first strip through to a slab or oversite that is ready for the frame or the bricklayers, working from the engineer's drawings and setting out with our own survey equipment.
We take on full groundworks packages for main contractors, developers, farms and private clients across all of Yorkshire and into Lincolnshire. A typical package covers the enabling works, reduced level dig, foundations, drainage, ducts and services, floor slabs and the external works.
Our machines run 3D machine control, so excavation, formation and drainage levels are dug to the design model rather than to pegs and profiles alone. That gives a higher degree of accuracy on levels and falls, and less over-dig and rework on site.

Can you work from our engineer's drawings?
Yes. We price and build from the structural and drainage drawings, raise any queries with the engineer before work starts and set out the works ourselves.
Do you take on both commercial and residential groundworks?
Yes. We carry out groundworks for commercial units, agricultural buildings and housing, from single plots to larger developments.
How do we get a price?
