A reinforced raft foundation built alongside existing commercial units.

About the project

This raft foundation was built on an occupied commercial site, alongside existing units and the site offices.

Edge formwork was set to line and level and two layers of mesh reinforcement were fixed on spacers, with starter bars marked and capped where the structure continues above the slab. The concrete was then placed and finished.
